I will meet and greet you in Sarajevo. Meeting location can be your hotel or any other preferable location. The best is to start early in the morning around 8:00 am to have enough time to explore more on the way. First stop is Konjic and some unique stories about this place. After short break we continue to Jablanica direction and enjoy the scenery and some stories related to the history of this area famous in the whole world. Mostar and famous Old Bridge are the next stop to discover more about history of the country. This excursion will also take you to the springs at Vrelo Bune. The strongest spring in Europe has an output of more than 45, 000 liters per second. Vrelo Bune-The Spring of River Buna is also home to the most famous Dervish tekke, or monastery, in the Balkans.
Danijela provided a comprehensive tour and transportation through Herzegovina. She brings strong historical knowledge as well as her own personal experiences to really bring the country to life and provide context to what is a complex region of Europe. The tour covered a wide range of experiences including natural beauty as well as towns and cities in the area.
Danijela was an excellent host for our day tour of Sarajevo and the surrounding area. Our family had already seen some of the Bosnian sights earlier in the week so Danijela tailored the tour to meet our interests and energy levels. She went out her way to share the secret spots of Sarajevo and even arranged affordable transport to the airport with her husband, complete with Bosnian cookies and water. She also gave first hand accounts of the war and its devastation of this area. It was dad, hopeful, and gripping all at once and made us realize how lucky and grateful we are. We would highly recommend Danijela to others.
Danijela was incredible - this was truly the highlight of our two-week trip to eastern Europe, and we ended our day having learned so much about Herzegovina and the culture of Bosnia. Danijela worked with us to visit each of the locations we wanted to, shared a wealth of information along the way, and took us to a wonderful lunch spot along a peaceful river. What an unforgettable day - we appreciated the time and hospitality, and would highly recommend her for your group's tour!
We would highly recommend this tour and Danijela as a tour guide. We all came away feeling we had really started to get an understanding of the country and a much deeper appreciation of what we were seeing because of the insights Danijela gave us into Bosnia’s culture and history. The tour was spectacular! Very pretty places to see. And Danijela (our tour guide) made it even better. She speaks perfect English, she is punctual, knowledgeable, a safe driver plus she has a great emotional intelligence: she could tell when we were tired, hungry, thirsty , etc and adapted our tour to our needs!
