Discover the glory past of Sarajevo by visiting its Old Town and the most important monuments from the Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian periods. We will enjoy Bascarsija with its mosques, caravan-sarays, bazaars and narrow streets hiding gems like coppersmiths, coffee shops and sweet corners. Then we will emerge into a different, western culture with its churches, squares, wide streets and modern architecture. After this walking tour, we will continue by car through a more modern Yugoslavian part of the city. We will take the Snipers Alley - the most dangerous street of Sarajevo during the war. Our final stop is the Tunnel of Hope, a place built by my own family. There we will watch a documentary about the Siege of Sarajevo in the 90s, see Sarajevo Roses as well as enter the museum to get the real feel of how was life in a besieged city. Last but not least, we will pass through a part of the tunnel - the only entrance and exit from the city during 4 years of siege. Tourists say it is an eye-opening experience.

Part of the tour is a walking tour in Sarajevo downtown. Then we will move towards the Tunnel of Hope by a Hyundai Tucson 2022 model. The car is modern, air-conditioned and spacious for up to 4 persons max. Should there be more than 4 travelers, there is a possibility of renting a mini van. Please contact me for more details.
