Hello my dear guest, welcome to te profile of the best tour guide in Bosnia and Sarajevo. The reason I can say that? When you have feedback like this for your tours: "He is the best tour guide I have ever had and I have traveled to 98 countries with numerous tour guides (Vee-Jay)" then you can be certain about it. Few things about me: I am a professional, certified, licensed tourist guide (guiding from 2012) and licensed mountain guide, born and raised in Sarajevo, with a master's degree in history. I am also passionat mountaineer and bicyclist. Together with me you can feel unique beauties of Sarajevo and its environment. It will be my pleasure to assist your visit to any destination you would like to see throughout the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Besides the usual tours that detail the cultural and historic background of Sarajevo and its environment, I can offer you mountaineering and more extreme activities such as hiking, canyoning, camping, rafting, cave tourism, cycling, ecotourism, and much more. All my tours (specially private ones) are not just scheduled according to strict places and basic itinerary. If you are interested in certain subject, we can make the tour in that way, it is all on you and for your own pleasure. I will be glad to host you in my country and my city. Cheers - Master degree in history / Sarajevo University - department of History - Licensed tour guide - Licensed mountain guide

The siege of Sarajevo was one of the longest sieges in the history of modern warfare. The Capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina was under siege by the army of Republica Srpska from April 5th 1992 to February 29th 1996, during the Bosnian war. The siege was a year longer then the siege of Leningrad in WW2. During this tragic period, 11000 civilians were killed or went missing and about 1500 children were killed. On the tour, you will visit the most important places from this period and hear the real stories and first-hand testimonies about the dangers of everyday life and survival in a besieged city.
- Sniper Alley - Markale marketplace massacre - Parlament building - Suada and Olga Bridge - first victims of Siege of Sarajevo - Destroyed Retirement home - Tunel of Hope museum - Jewish cemetery - Yellow fort - Kovaci cemetery
