Srebrenica - a small town in eastern Bosnia, is a place where the worst crimes against humanity and the worst genocide in Europe since World War II happened. It was July 11th, 1995, when the terrible acts of ethnic cleansing started in Srebrenica and continued in a couple of following days when more than 8, 000 people were killed, including children. The tour to Srebrenica is a full-day tour from Sarajevo that will help you understand much better everything that was happening there. The most important part of this tour is the visit to the „Srebrenica-Potocari" Memorial Complex where you will have the opportunity to see many original photos and videos and meet the survivor of the Srebrenica genocide. This trip is certainly something to remember your whole life!
During this tour we will see: - Drive from Sarajevo to Srebrenica (around 3 hours) through some beautiful parts of Bosnian countryside. - Srebrenica Graveyard - we are going to see firstly a huge graveyard where Srebrenica victims are buried. - Memorial and Museum in Srebrenica-Potocari - we will visit an impressive memorial and museum which are part of the Foundation "Srebrenica-Potocari" - Srebrenica Town and Spring of healthy water - the tour continues towards Srebrenica town. Lunch is planned here. I will show you the springs of healthy water around Srebrenica which represents a big potential for this small town. I am flexible and I can customize this tour for a bigger group and I will arrange another bigger vehicle.
