Hello and welcome, I would be most happy to show you my Vienna: Elegant, full of art and history and at the same time a vibrant and very livable city in the heart of Europe. There are impressive and scenic places to show, countless stories to tell, surprising connections to make. Architecture, famous personalities, the changeable fortune of the city but also the small and "typical" details do make Vienna unique for me. This is exactly why I decided to become a guide. After majoring in political science and German philology at the University of Vienna and many years working for European Union programs I finally turned my fascination for my hometown into my profession. Having completed a two-years training course I passed the Austrian state examination for tourist guides in 2017 and since then I have been a full-time guide offering inspiring tours in the city as well as in many museums. Becoming a guide has been the best decision in my professional life. I simply love sharing my knowledge of Vienna and my enthusiasm for this city with visitors from all over the world and I gladly adjust to the interests of my guests. I focus on overview and themed walking tours as this is the best way to explore and discover the town. From the famous squares to the hidden corners - let's do it together! Licensed Austria and Vienna Guide Masters degree in political science and German language and literature, University of Vienna I focus on walking tours. If wished, I can accompany you in your vehicle or arrange for a separate car/minivan and driver. The price for a car and driver is charged extra.

Come and join me on a time journey encompassing over 2000 years: From the splendid 19th century Ring Boulevard to medieval Vienna, from Roman times back to the present. The Hofburg Palace was the main residence of the Habsburg dynasty rulers until 1918. We explore this enormous palace complex from outside and hear about its functions today. Michael's Square next to it is a point of attraction for its architectural ensemble from different centuries. Via the elegant Graben square, we head for the main landmark of the city: Saint Stephen's Cathedral. In the scenic quarter adjacent to this gothic masterpiece, we go back to the time of Mozart and beyond. A lunch break in a traditional Viennese restaurant will revive your energies for a visit of one the most significant baroque palaces of Central Europe: The Upper Belvedere. We enjoy the famous "Canaletto View" from there as well as a unique picture gallery. Complete your Vienna-tour with Austrian art such as Gustav Klimt´s iconic painting "The Kiss".

We could make use of the tramline instead of walking up to the Upper Belvedere Palace.
