See the best of Vienna within a day with a true local! We will start to explore the city by car or minivan and drive by some of the most outstanding monuments and sights of Vienna: From the Opera house to the Giant Ferries Wheel and the Danube. We will also stop at other places like Hundertwasserhaus, a remarkable piece of architecture that you will never forget, and Schönbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the Habsburg family. After a short visit in the park of Schönbrunn we will drive back to the city and walk through the old town including parts of Hofburg, the winter residence of the imperial family, and the old Jewish quarter. I will tell you the history of these sights but also some fun background stories and most important how it feels to live in Vienna today: How does is feel if you are a debutant at the opera ball? Driving part (4 hours): - Ring Boulevard including sights like the Opera house, Museum of Fine Arts & Museum of Natural History, Parliament house, Town Hall, Burgtheater, University, Votiv Church. - Museumsquartier, Volkstheater and Karlsplatz with St. Charles Church, Secession, Musikverein and Nasch Market. - Schönbrunn Palace with its beautiful gardens. - Hundertwasserhaus - Prater area with Giant Ferris Wheel and Danube river Walking tour (2 hours): - historical city center including the imperial residence and medieval Vienna with the old Jewish quarter - transfer by public transportation to your pick up point If you wish you can also add an inside visit of Schönbrunn Palace (22 state rooms/ calculate 1 hour and some extra costs for the entrance fee)
