Travel the magnificent Great Ocean Road in a vehicle where everyone is guaranteed a great view . See mountains rising straight from the pounding ocean along the rugged Bass Strait. Look for Australia's unique koalas and birds. Note this tour does not go to the 12 Apostles. This tour is ideal for Cruise ship passengers on a day visit to Melbourne that doesn't allow time for the 12 hour Great Ocean Road and 12 Apostles tour or for those who do not want such a long tour. Your Melbourne tour itinerary
Travel to the Surf Coast Visit Erskine Falls OR Bells Beach (where the world's longest-running international surf competition is held at Easter). After morning tea we start a leisurely trip along the Great Ocean Road to Apollo Bay with many stops on the way. We might even see kangaroos, koalas, and king parrots. After lunch at a local café, we head inland through a eucalyptus rainforest, and then rolling hills and dairy farms and return to Melbourne. Please note that it can be cold, windy, or rainy along the Great Ocean Road even if a good day is forecast for Melbourne. Please bring additional clothing and jackets to keep warm. The itinerary may be changed or cancelled due to weather and road conditions. This tour may be operated in reverse in peak periods.
