On this tour, I aim to give you a great taste of Australian wine while you enjoy beautiful nature, share many stories about the valley and help you make every drop count. Picturesque Yarra Valley, with more than 160 wineries, is the country's best food and wine region and home to a wide range of wineries, from small family-run to big internationally-owned ones. Out of ten years of experience, I carefully selected the wineries where wine has been the life passion of their owners to include them in my itineraries. Tastings will be from various classics such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Rose and sparkling. After hearing about your preferences, I will finalise your itinerary and take you to four wineries, each with a unique style. A tasty three-course lunch with a glass of wine will be provided while you enjoy the panoramic view. If you like to taste local gins or beer, we can include a distillery and/or a brewery in the itinerary.
Ben provided a wonderful day in the Yarro Valley. He picked us up and dropped us off at the cruise terminal, making the trip in an unfamiliar place so easy. We enjoyed the scenic drive, the wines, and an excellent lunch. Ben took great care in planning our winery visits, answered our many questions about the area, and is an excellent driver. We could not have had a nicer day. Thank you Ben!
We did two back-to-back tours with Ben, which was amazing! After the great Ocean Road tour with Ben, the Yarra Valley was relaxed and actually quite educational. Ben picked great wineries – each one with a different ambience and focus. We, therefore, got a lot of different input and education. From an OakRidge tasting to Soumah, which included a three course lunch, to Chandon, where we tried several different sparkling wines, we then continued to four pillars where we did a gin tasting. The drive to and from the Yarra Valley passed quickly as we chatted with Ben picking up Local information and just getting to know each other other conversations. Ben is quite knowledgeable – he seems quite adept at choosing wineries to match his clients. But, he is a kind, considerate and respectful person. I would highly recommend him!
We very much enjoyed our winetasting tour of the Yarra Valley. The wineries we visited were a nice representation of the wines from the area. I especially liked the tasting and lunch at Soumah. Wish we would have had more time to tour the area but our cruise ship only stopped in Melbourne for one day. If I’m ever back in Melbourne I would certainly consider booking another tour with Ben.

Ben toured the five of us in the Yarra Valley where we visited the Healesville Sanctuary and Steels Gate Winery. He is a wonderful driver and provided us with extensive knowledge of the wine country as well as the wildlife in the Sanctuary. We also got a tour of the Melbourne neighborhoods with the viewpoint of a local. We would recommend Ben to anyone who wants a local guide with a pleasant personality and extensive knowledge of Yarra Valley and Melbourne.
