The tours are sure to provide a memorable experience for any wine lover and outdoor enthusiast. I regular travel the Great Ocean Road (in both directions) and also visit our winery regions. Besides this, I have a passion for the bushland around Melbourne and can plan a hiking tour for travellers encompassing your interests. I am a member of Tour Guides Australia (TGA) and am an expert events coordinator, having worked for many years as a corporate conference and exhibition organiser. My experience as a leader of the Koonung Bushwalking Club, current leader of the South Gippsland Walking and Adventure Club, leader of the Strzelecki Bushwalking Club and Ladybirds Outdoors Adventures means that you are in safe hands as you enjoy the picturesque scenery of the Victorian countryside. Overview of your Melbourne tour
I shall pick you up at the entrance to Station Pier or your accommodation. We drive a short distance to the Queen Victoria Market. We commence our walking/tram tour at Queen Victoria Market. I shall give you an overview of the market and tell you about its history and take you on some tastings. Lunch will be a combination of foods picked up at the market. We can also enjoy a wine tasting. We then head by tram into the central part of Melbourne where we will explore the older parts of Melbourne, the Laneways, some quirky shops and enjoy a great coffee and chocolates. The commentary will be some history and happenings of today. The tour will conclude at approximately 4. 00pm.
