Overview of your Melbourne tour
The journey aboard Puffing Billy is absolutely delightful! The Dandenong Ranges is a breathtaking sight with the lush fern gullies and towering Mountain Ash trees. You'll have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the fresh air while the train takes you through the temperate rainforest after Arriving at Lake-Side Station then onto Yarra Valley and visit Healesville Sanctuary. Lunch is at Bakery in Healesville. If there happens to be any time lost during the morning, it's understandable that the tour itinerary may need to be adjusted to accommodate the schedule of the cruise ship departure times. A City walk/drive tour in the afternoon would be the alternative, ensuring that you're close to the Cruise Ship terminal. It's wonderful that the Tour itinerary can be changed to suit individual needs. Flexibility is key when it comes to creating a memorable and enjoyable experience with No Stress.
Your Melbourne tour itinerary
If you are arriving by Cruise Ship its a 8 or 8. 30 AM start time; Our highlights for today are as follows the Puffing Billy steam train which runs through the Dandenong Ranges, just under an hour's drive from Melbourne. Your journey is a step back in time as you board the train at the quaint Belgrave Station for a 60-minute ride to Lakeside Station. Departing the station, Puffing Billy steams along its original track that meanders through the scenic Australian bush of the Dandenong Ranges. Arriving at Lake-Side Station. Head to the Yarra Valley for lunch and visit Healesville Sanctuary or we could do a little Melbourne City Tour on the way back to your hotel or Cruise ship. We can change this Tour itinerary to suit your needs. If there is any time lost during the morning the tour itinerary may need to change to suit the schedule of the cruise ship departure times. The change would be a City walk/drive tour in the afternoon so we are close to the Cruise Ship terminal.
