This tour is for those who have more time to explore all the highlights of the Great Ocean Road region at a leisurely pace over 2 days , rather than a long 12 hour day trip. Stop and take photos, explore the scenery, take a leisurely walk in the rainforest, climb a lighthouse*, and see the 12 Apostles both in the setting sun and then again the following morning. Explore more of the beautiful coastal scenery in the Port Campbell area and visit a selection of the many attractions on the Otway Harvest trail, including a cheese or chocolate factory or a gin distillery, before heading back to Melbourne. Your Melbourne tour itinerary
Pick up in Melbourne. Stop at Erskine Falls OR Bells Beach (where the world's longest running international surf competition is held at Easter). After morning tea, enjoy a leisurely and exciting trip along the Great Ocean Road with many stops along the way. Lunch at a local café at Apollo Bay. Walk in a eucalypt rainforest, or through a grove of Californian Redwoods and view another waterfall, or visit a lighthouse* or a wildlife park* View the spectacular 12 Apostles in the late afternoon sun. Maybe take an optional helicopter flight* along the coast. Overnight at Port Campbell. DAY 2 Revisit the 12 Apostles in a different light. Explore Loch Ard Gorge, The Arch, London Bridge, The Grotto. Visit a selection of the many attractions on the Otway Harvest trail, including a cheese or chocolate factory, or a gin distillery*.
