Hello! My name is Alice. I am French, born and bred, and since my childhood I have travelled across France, Europe and North America. Hence my passion for travelling and discovering new countries, cultures and people. When not travelling physically, my parents who were avid cinephiles showed me loads of films, and a high variety of shows and artworks to feed my passion and curiosity of others. During my studies and at the start of my career I had the opportunity to live in different countries - Germany, Canada and Italy- and to experience locals' day to day lives, discovering in depth their cultures, learning their language and even befriending them. I moved in Melbourne a few years ago with my husband and 2 daughters and very soon I fell in love with the city, the history it carries, and all the stories and treasuries it hides. That's how I've decided to combine my passion with my occupation and to become a tour guide. I will be honored to take you on tour and show you Melbourne, its architecture, its main landmarks as well as its very hidden streets. And I will help you to understand how it was founded and how it became this vibrant modern city that we know today. As a French native I will share with you my personal vision of Melbourne, nourished by my own culture and the experience I've gathered travelling and living abroad. And I would love to exchange with you about your own experience as a traveler. I will be happy to get in touch with you before the tour to understand your interests and expectations and to tailor the tour for you. Melbourne is a city best discovered on foot so I don't drive a car for my tours. However, I can arrange any kind of public transportation to bring you to the places you'd like to discover. I can hold my tours either in English or in French. I will also be able to converse with you in Italian or German, before or during the tour, if those are any of your favorite languages. I hope to meet you soon! - Tour Guides Australia (TGA) member - TGA Micro Credential Training Course in May 2023 - Public Liability insurance cover - First Aid certification : first aid, anaphylaxis, asthma, CPR - Master's Degree in IT Engineering I am not a driver ; I will guide you to explore Melbourne on foot and - if needed and agreed with you - by public transportation (mainly trams.)

Join me for a relaxed and immersive 6-hour journey through Melbourne, discovering the city in all its depth and charm. We’ll ride Melbourne’s famous heritage trams for the longer sections, and explore on foot the places where the city’s story began — including the original settlement site along the Yarra River. Along the way, you’ll uncover the city’s most iconic landmarks, as well as its hidden gems, secret corners and more intimate, lesser-known areas. We’ll admire the magnificent houses, banks, theaters and heritage buildings from the Gold Rush era. As every Melburnian will tell you, no day is complete without great coffee — so we’ll take a moment to enjoy a cup of Melbourne’s world-famous brew, and soak up the vibrant atmosphere of its street art laneways. To conclude our day, we’ll ascend the Eureka Tower, one of the highest in the city, to enjoy a breathtaking 360° panorama — the perfect way to see from above everything you’ve discovered throughout the day.
The pick-up location is entirely up to you, and we’ll explore the city at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I’ll also tailor the experience to match your personal interests — whether you’re passionate about architecture, history, cafés, markets, art, street art, Aboriginal culture, shopping, or simply a bit of everything! A typical itinerary may include: - The Yarra River and the site of Melbourne’s first British settlement - Federation Square, St Paul’s Cathedral, Flinders Street Station - Collins Street, lined with magnificent buildings from the Gold Rush era - The elegant Royal Arcade and the beautiful Block Arcade, along with a selection of laneways filled with local boutiques, galleries, cafés and vibrant street art - The State Library of Victoria, home to free exhibitions and the stunning La Trobe Reading Room And to finish in style: Melbourne Skydeck — where you’re free to enjoy the breathtaking views for as long as you wish, and perhaps sip a drink at the Skydeck Bar if the mood strikes!
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
