I'm Jezabel, but my friends call me Jes. I was born and raised in Salta. I spent my childhood reading everything about History, Geography, Literature and so on, and I had the chance to live a couple of months in England, that helped me to improve my english speaking. And that's why my work as a tour guide started as son as I was 21 years old in 2005. While I was doing my degree as a Professor in History at University, I also worked in the High Altitude Archeological Museum (MAAM) which is nowadays the most visited museum in the country. That also expanded my knowledge of the richness of the culture and history that we have at the North West of Argentina. Currently, I´m a PhD Canditate in Social and Cultural Studies at the UNSA, and on my free time I still work doing some historical and anthropological research. I take satisfaction in sharing my knowledge of the history and culture of his huge and diverse land to visitors. Being a tour guide has given me the chance to interact with individuals from all over the world, and I consider myself fortunate to learn from them, and share my experiences with them too. I turn my trips into a way of living, I enjoy being a guide, but also being a tourist. I spent a couple of years traveling around Asia and South America. This helped me to discover that in difference there is always something in common. This is a dialectical relationship that is created in the journey of traveling. Talking, learning, sharing is part of the many things that happens when we are open to know something new. I have an easygoing personality that I believe enables me to connect with travelers on a slightly deeper level and make their adventures in the Argentinean NW unforgettable. I would love to take you to the mountains, the landscape and the people that lives there, as an interpreter for you, not only as a guide. All my tours can be customized so we can find the best for you!
