Overview of your Salta tour

Departing from Salta heading north on national road 9 will show the traveler how dramatic the changes can be. From the lushness of the cloud forest in la Cornisa road, to the desert looks of the Altiplano, where Salinas Grandes is located, in just an hour drive. But arriving in the salt-flats is not possible without stumbling with UNESCO site Quebrada de Huamahuaca, where locals still farm their lands using the old ways of plowing fields with donkeys and growing veggies from seed they inherited from their ancestors This tour will give the traveler perspective on how humans could thrive in the high valleys of the magnificent Andes mountain range

I can highly recommend Pablo as a guide to anyone. As a local, he not only knows the special spots for incredible photos, but he also knows the history of the country down to the smallest detail, which enriches the trip and the impressions of the places visited many times over. In terms of the long and sometimes challenging routes by car, I can only give Pablo the best testimonial. Pablo was truly awesome- such a comprehensive guide. His English is impeccable. He knows so much not only about the Geography of the region but just about everything related. Pablo was great since the first time I contacted him via email asking for a customize tour to the Jujuy area. He accommodated all my requests in a perfect two day tour. The tour, thank to Pablo's knowledge, helped us to understood and experience the culture, geology, traditions, food, and more of the area. The places we visited and the views, Serranía del Hornocal, Humahuaca, Tilcara, Paleta del Pintor, Salinas Grande, Purmamarca, and more were amazing and breathtaking. We couldn't think of anyone better to spend 2 days on a tour with other than Pablo. He is a very experienced and capable driver and we both felt very safe and comfortable in the car for over 8 hours each day. The tour incorporates some incredible scenery with breathtaking views. Conversation was easy and Pablo's command of English is extraordinary (better than some English people!! More importantly, he is great fun and company. An all-round good egg!! Don't hesititate, book Pablo!
