I love travelling! And that's why I've made of it my way of life. I'm a professional guide. Since 1999 I've been working in Salta, my birth place, and after that in the whole of Argentina, and in other countries, like Bolivia and Chile, South Africa, Namibia and Bostwana, until I've found my second home in Norway, where I spend half of the year. In the austral summers I'm in Argentina, ready to show the marvellous landscapes of the Argentinian Northwest. I work with a 4x4 car, and I love going out of the beaten paths, discovering hidden places, and taking the time to enjoy every single moment: a sunset, a glass of wine, a chat with a local person. During boreal summers I'm in Norway and I bike all over the amazing Oslo, to show travellers the most significant places: from the old city to the super modern new areas, from busiest working neighborhoods to relaxing green parks, from the main touristic attractions to the hidden spots where locals live, eat, work and have fun. I like sports. I believe that walking or biking gives you a much closer contact with the enviroment. You don't need to be a fit person, we can adapt the experience to all the levels, but I definitely suggest you to try it. The colors will seem stronger, you will feel the sounds, the smells, and the wind will stroke your face. I enjoy the contact with people, and I want to share what I've learned with you to help to make of your trip the best experience. Tourist Guide, registered in the Tourism Ministry of Salta. Everyday will present constant changes, driving along three different canyons: the green and populated with cactus "Quebrada de Escoipe", the amazing shaped "Quebrada de las Flechas" and the colorful "Quebrada de las Conchas". The traces of the old inhabitants will take us back in time, the altitude and dry weather will give us unique wines, and the soil will provide the most tasteful vegetables. We will take our time to enjoy every-corner, and if you want to walk or bike under the clear blue sky that characterizes the area.
Day 1: From Salta, we drive to"Quebrada de Escoipe". At "Los Cardones National park", we reach "Piedra del Molino". Then we arrive to the colonial town of Cachi. For sunset we can visit Isasmendi winery. Day 2: We follow the 40 road along the "Calchaqui" river. Optional a d-tour to Colomé winery, and its unique James Turrel Contemporany Art Museum. After some colonial towns, we cross the "Quebrada de las Flechas", with white carved sandstone. Finally, the city of Cafayate. Day 3: We drive along "Las Conchas Valley" a colorful gorge with a lot of particular formations. We arrive to Salta in the afternoon. Use comfortable cloths and shoes. Weather is unpredictable here, it can be warm in winter and cold in summer.
