Purmamarca and the salt flats private tour - from Salta

My family and I had such an amazing time on this private tour with Pablo! So much so that we booked a 2nd tour with him for the following day to another area in the Salta region. We were beyond impressed with his wealth of knowledge about the history of Argentina and South America and their culture. Pablo is extremely personable, so much so that it felt like we had all known each other for a long time! Pablo was flexible with the schedule and even though we were running behind, still offered to drive us through the jungle on our way back to Salta even though it added an extra 30 minutes onto the trip. Pablo is 100% fluent in English which made for very easy conversation! Pablo is entertaining, informative, respectful and an absolute pleasure to be around. Good driver too! We 110% recommend booking a tour with Pablo whether it be to the northern region of Salta or southern region towards the mountain ranges and wine country. Wherever the tour, we can guarantee you won't regret booking with him, especially over crowded group tours.... we've learned that the hard way. Great tour! Fantastic for anyone who wants to see gorgeous mountain landscapes and the salt flats without the pressure of driving mountain roads yourself. It's a long day, but well worth it. It's a great introduction to the culture, history, and environments of northwest Argentina.

Well planned tour and fantastic guide with extensive knowledge of history and locals attractions. My wife studied anthropology. So, his explanations of sites combined with historians culture kept our attention. Though I am in a wheelchair, his assistance was really good with knot of locations of accessible restroom. We are really satisfied with this tour.

Fantastic experience and worth every penny. The drive, the salt flats and the towns we stopped in were all amazing, but more importantly Pablo's knowledge and personality really made the journey for us! Would definitely recommend.

Pablo was perfect. Our tour was like spending the day with a great friend. He has a vast knowledge of the culture, history and geography of the area. The most enthusiastic, energetic and empathetic individual and really fun, had an absolute blast with him. Flexible and ensured trip was exactly what we wanted. Spoke excellent and colloquial English. Wish he could be our guide on all our travels. We'd give him 10 out of 5 he's that good.

Pablo is a thoughtful, enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide with an excellent command of English. He met us at our Salta hotel the night before the tour so we could start early for a full day with many miles to cover. He was full of information about Argentina as well as our destinations -Purmamarca (with its spectacular landscape) and the impressive Grandes Salinas - and his easy conversation made the distances pass quickly. We considered the tour good value for money and highly recommend him.
