I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and I'm a researcher, professor, curator and tour guide with over ten years of experience in the industry. I am very passionate about arts and culture, as well as history, gastronomy and wine. I love travelling, meeting people and sharing my own porteño culture and the influence of my Jewish heritage in my country. I became a tour guide because it allows me to put all my interests at play while sharing my love for Buenos Aires and Argentina with the rest of the world. I really enjoy showing my city to visitors and helping them navigate our beautiful country's traditions, habits, and culture. I love being outdoors, reading, listening to music, walking and swimming. I also really enjoy visiting museums and galleries, parks and gardens, and spending time at the beach and around mountains. I am very interested in learning about other lifestyles and customs, as I believe diversity makes us more interesting and emphatic and helps us understand the complexity of the world from varied perspectives. My tours explore different aspects of local culture, from every-day customs to historical and artistic milestones in Argentina's development. All my tours can be customized to each client's needs and interests. We had a post cruise day in Buenos Aires before a late evening flight, and Jonathan provided a wonderful, thoughtful, and enriching tour of Buenos Aires with great insight due to his wealth of knowledge and perspective as an art historian. He has an engaging personality and was flexible to curate the tour to our interests and day. Thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend Jonathan.
