Hi! My name is Paola, and after being a professional as an Accountant for some years, I decided to change my life and follow my passion: Buenos Aires. I've been a tour guide since 2012. Paola was an excellent tour guide who went above and beyond to accommodate me even with a delayed flight/arrival. Her four hour tour covered all of the highlights of the city and was the perfect start to my trip. I really liked the combination of driving and walking plus her informative and engaging narrative of the history of BA and Argentina that really gave a feel for the city. What a fantastic tour! Paola was excellent. In our four hour tour we hit all the highlights of Buenos Aires both by car and foot. She accommodated our requests as to specific places we wanted to see. Paola was extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of Buenos Aires. Since my husband and I enjoy architecture, she concentrated on including that in our tour as well. Her English is excellent, so there was no problem with communicating. We learned so much more than we would have on a group tour. Getting to some of the districts (La Boca) we may not have visited on our own was a big advantage. I have used other companies for small group and private tours and by far Tours by Locals is the best....and Paola was the best!
We had a great tour with Paola! She is very nice, friendly, knowledgeable and easy to understand. She picked us up at the cruise terminal, gave a great tour all around the city and dropped us off at the airport. Car was very comfortable. Paola knows a lot of history so it was interesting to get the background on many of the places we visited during the day. We went to a few "special places" one would not see on a large tour. Definitely recommend Paola
