I am Elisabet and I am ready to show you Buenos Aires. I love being a local guide. I have been guiding for the last 20 years. And I have been working for ToursByLocals for the last 16 years. A wonderful introduction to Buenos Aires. Elisabet appeared on time at our hotel with a comfortable van for the four of us, her and our superb driver. Off we went for an exploration of the city's diverse neighborhoods. During the tour we learned about history, especially the last 50 years, and the culture of Argentina, and saw evidence of this as we explored. Highly recommend Elisabet for your visit.
Elisabet is an outstanding tour guide. We had a big group and our mother (who is 88) and the transportation was also top notch. We saw the major sites, got a tour of the city and how it is laid out, and had a great lunch. Highly recommend Elisabet!
Elisabet is a very seasoned tour guide with encyclopedic knowledge of Buenos Aires history. We were very comfortable in the van and with the driver as we hit all the high spots of the city. She flexed our itinerary as we shared the places we had already been to while enroute. We had an outstanding lunch at El Gran Paraiso in La Boca which she took us to. She also told us that our tango reservation included transportation which saved us time and money. Best guide on this trip of 12 tours over 24 days. You will be very happy to have a day of touring with Elisabet!
- Meet at your hotel or agreed point in the city. - We will have a stop at Plaza de Mayo (the main square of the city), Casa Rosada (Presidential Palace), Cabildo, and Metropolitan Cathedral (Pope Francis' Church). - Next stop at La Boca which is an area with colorful houses, street art and football atmosphere everywhere. - Then we will move to San Telmo, the old part of town, with its cobbled stone streets and antiques shops. - Time for lunch where you will be able to try our excellent meat and why not a Malbec? - Later we will drive through Puerto Madero, the most modern part of the city. - You will also see the wide 9 de Julio Ave. and the Colón Theatre from outside. - We will have an optional stop at Recoleta cemetery. Entrance ticket at usd 15 per person. - Drive back to your hotel or agreed point. NOTE: The itinerary can be adapted to traveler's interests: do not hesitate to contact me for a customized tour!
