Hi and be welcome! I'm a Professor of Social Communication Sciences, a Tour Guide specialized in the City of Buenos Aires and currently studying for a third degree in Museology, but above all I'm an incurable and eclectic reader and collector. You might think of me as a Renaissance man: arts, history, gastronomy, politics, music and a long etcetera, everything gets my attention. I'm passionate about life and knowledge, and I love transmitting that passion, either as an educator or as tour guide, as both professions have a lot in common if properly approached. But not only am I a bookworm, I have been a marathoner, participating in some of the most important marathons in the world, I love hiking and trekking, I've done scuba diving and parachuting, and I'm constantly open to new experiences. So many passions and interests took me on the path of becoming a tour guide, as it offers the biggest possibilities to put my knowledge and experiences to use, allowing me to constantly customize my tours according to the interests and preferences of my tourists. As for Buenos Aires itself, I keep exploring this fascinating city on a daily basis, and it gets me extremely happy transmitting my love for Buenos Aires. • Professor of Social Communication Sciences • Licensed Tour Guide specialized in the City of Buenos Aires • Currently studying for a third degree in Museology Im not a driver, I rent a private car and driver for the tours

I will lead you through the interesting streets of the city, discovering buildings, cafes, stories, and the people — the porteños. Walking at your own pace and using public transport (train, bus, metro), you become part of this incredible metropolis, living an authentic experience as a local. Fantastic tour with Rosty!!! He led me through a really cool journey through the colorful San Telmo and Boca regions of Buenos Aires. Rosty - a self-described renaissance man - brought endless knowledge, boundless enthusiasm, and a bit of song(!) to our journey. Every step was tailored to my interests and adapted to the day's events, ensuring a truly enjoyable and memorable experience. I cannot recommend Rosty highly enough and i cannot wait for a future tour with him!

Rosty is a superb guide and very enjoyable to spend time with. His vast knowledge of art, history, and culture informed, but did not overwhelm, our tour. He talked with us, not at us. He also paid close attention to our interests and adapted the tour to suit. He was great at answering our many questions as well and while we could only scratch the surface in the time we had, he made the most of it and we came away with a much better understanding of Buenos Aires history and culture. It was a memorable and worthwhile experience.

Rosty was great - just what we were looking for. Knowledgeable, personable, took great care to make sure we were having the experience we wanted. Was incredibly accessible and communicative before our tour as well. We'll definitely try to do another tour with Rosty next time we're in Buenos Aires.

Terrific tour, that can be personalized based on weather and ability to access buildings. Combined history, with relevance to the country that we are from, and included some stops to get a beverage or snack. Buenos Aires is a city that doesn't disappoint, and Rosty did a terrific job showing us around on a rainy day.

Your Buenos Aires tour itinerary

As there are a wide range of places to visit and the city is quite big, we can visit the main highlights at your own pace and fitting your particular preferences during the tour. • It's always a good idea to start where everything started, the Downtown area, with the Plaza de Mayo, the Casa Rosada (Presidential Palace), the Cabildo (Town Hall), and the Metropolitan Cathedral, all witnesses to local and South American history. • Our next stop can be Caminito, in La Boca, with its colorful houses and street art (we'll use public transportation to get there). • And we can finish at Recoleta, with its traces of a luxurious past, with beautiful palaces and an amazing cemetery considered an open-air art museum. But we have other options, like San Telmo, the old part of town, with its cobbled stone streets and antiques shops; Puerto Madero, the gentrified former port docks are now the most modern part of town; or Palermo, the reinvented neighborhood, nowadays full of design shops, restaurants, and cafes.
