We spent 4 hours with Veronica exploring the main sites of the Plaza de Mayo, walking through San Telmo and taking a city bus to La Boca. She is extremely knowledgeable of the history of Argentina and Buenos Aires and has excellent English. We especially liked that she was very flexible and tailored the tour to our interests. When she learned that my wife was born and raised in Denmark, she took us to see the Danish Church in the city and shared information about the city's lone Danish restaurant. She shared so many stories about the country and city and its people and events that gave greater meaning to our time and experiences in Argentina and Buenos Aires.

This tour is for you to discover the must-sees of the city so first, this is what we'll explore: - Plaza de Mayo, where the city was founded, the Pink House, the Cathedral and the Cabildo - San Telmo, the old district with crafts, antiques and food market - Puerto Madero, the gentrified port with impressive skyscrapers Then, I offer two very different alternatives to continue our tour. We'll take a bus to the South or the North of the city to visit either of the following: - La Boca, the old port, colorful Caminito and Boca stadium (South) - Recoleta, the aristocratic district and its famous cemetery (North)
