Merhaba (Hello)! I am Işıl. I am a licensed tour guide based in Istanbul and I do have a great passion for my city which is no less than an open-air museum. I was born and raised in western Turkey but have been living in Istanbul for the past 20 years. I love sharing what I know and telling stories, which are not in any scarcity in this gigantic city of Istanbul. I used to play football and these days I am more into tennis. I can also speak some Spanish. I have a genuine passion for connecting people with the rich tapestry of Istanbul's history and culture. Not only I guide my tours with great enthusiasm but also patience and flexibility, understanding that every visitor absorbs information differently. Together, let's create memorable experiences and explore the wonders of Istanbul. I am looking forward to meeting you and sharing my genuine love for this city during our tour. - Master's degree in Tourist Guidance - Licensed Tour Guide in Turkey. I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver. Historical city tour in Istanbul requires a good amount of walking.

She gave us a lot of historical and religious background of what we were seeing. She was friendly and fluent. While I will not name the TBL guide that backed out on us, she was a real addition to...
