HI, I am Emilia. I'm a licensed tour guide in Sicily. I began building up my experience in this field 8 years ago. It all started when I realized that I really love the place where I live, and showing it to visitors gives me a lot of joy and a sense of accomplishment. That's why it became my full time job. I have always been interested in history , ancient civilizations and all aspects of past cultures. One of my favorite subjects at school was Latin. Then I graduated in Italian philology and literature because it forms a part of my interest as well, since our language and culture have origins in the Greek and Roman worlds. In Sicily we cannot avoid talking about Greek and Roman footprints. You can still feel the presence of ancient rulers here… What makes Sicily unique is the wide variety of places to see and things to do.
