We'll see the most important highlight cities in the south of Sicily. This is an incredible experience because in 8 hours I'll show you Ragusa Ibla, Modica and Noto. The 3 cities were all rebuilt after the earthquake in 1693. I will show you the most important churches and explain the difference between them. -1st we'll drive directly to Ibla ( approx. 1h / 20 min. drive ) walking tour ( approx. 1h / 30 min. - 2h ), Lunch break in Modica before visit . -2nd Then we'll visit Modica ( approx 30min. drive ) walking tour ( approx. 1h / 30 - Last stop is Noto, the capital of the Sicilian Baroque ( approx 1h/ 15min. drive ) walking tour ( approx 1h / 15min. ) I'll leave time for taking photos . I decided to have this baroque experience, because I studied for guiding primely the southern part of Sicily. and I have a deeply connected to all these cities. I also have a lot of friends that live here and for this reason I am fascinated by these localities. I feel this part of the island has deep roots with
- If you stay in the Hotel in Siracusa, we'll leave the city around 8-30 a. m. - We'll drive to Ibla : Public Garden : The Gate of Saint George, the church of Saint Joseph , the duomo andone of the most important building in Ibla : Palazzo la Rocca, with extraordinary balconies. - Then we'll visit Modica, with 2 important main Churches : Saint Peter and Saint George. - Last stop is Noto : The capital of the Sicilian Baroque. If you don't stay in a Hotel in Syracuse, we'll decide our meeting point for starting this baroque experience together.
