I was born and raised in the heart of the Bay of Naples, at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, an area renowned for its extraordinary archaeological heritage. Since childhood, I have been passionate about history and archaeology, especially because I grew up just a few minutes from the remarkable archaeological site of Herculaneum. As a child, I loved exploring the ancient cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum, where I was fascinated by the greatness of Greek and Roman civilization. That passion eventually became my profession, leading me to pursue a career as both an archaeologist and a licensed tourist guide. I graduated cum laude from the University of Naples "L'Orientale" with a Master's Degree in Classical Archaeology. During my academic training, I participated in several archaeological excavations in Pompeii and Cumae, gaining valuable field experience that allows me to bring the ancient world to life for my guests. Over the years, I have developed extensive knowledge not only of Pompeii and Herculaneum, but also of Naples, whose historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Phlegraean Fields, and the stunning Amalfi Coast, including Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. This region is truly unique—a place where history, archaeology, breathtaking landscapes, and centuries-old traditions come together. It is also famous for its outstanding cuisine; after all, the world-famous Pizza Margherita was born here.
