This tour begins with a guided exploration of Pompeii, one of the world’s most extraordinary archaeological sites. Walking through its ancient streets, you’ll step into the daily rhythm of Roman life and learn how the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD forever changed the city. Every corner reveals a story, every fresco a glimpse into a world frozen in time. After the visit, we head to the slopes of Mount Vesuvius for a wine tasting and a light lunch in a charming family-run winery. An expert will guide you through vineyards grown in volcanic soil as you enjoy traditional flavors and beautiful views over the Gulf of Naples and Capri. In the early afternoon, I will drive you up to quota 1000, where the easy trail to the main crater begins. You will climb independently along a scenic path leading to the rim of the volcano, with sweeping panoramas and a powerful sense of nature’s force. I will wait for you at the meeting point and accompany you to our agreed drop-off location.
We had a wonderful time with Pasquale today on our tour of Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius!! He communicated well before and during our tour! He prearranged our tickets for both and even set up a tour guide inside of Pompeii for us! He was kind, respectful, spoke great English, showed and told us some interesting facts of the area and took us to an excellent place for pizza overlooking the sea and views of Capri!! Thank you for a fantastic day at our port stop in Naples!!

Our tour guide at Pompeii, Natalia, was similarly professional and informative. She made the tour entertaining and informative. Both spoke fluent English and were very pleasant in demeanor. He was excellent. He was very accommodating as well as being very patient with my four grandchildren his choice of guide at Pompeii and Herculaneum was excellent. The tour was excellent, and also kept the interest of my grandchildren. The high height of the tour for my grandchildren was his choice of a gelato shop on our way back to our villa.
During this tour, you will see some of the most beautiful places, such as: - Pompeii Ruins where we will visit the marvelously preserved ancient villas, public baths, restaurants, theatres and houses (approx 150 minutes) - Taste the wines of Vesuvius in the suggestive setting of the Gulf of Naples. ( or Ercolano ). ( approx 120 minutes) - Mount Vesuvio ( approx 90 minutes ) The itinerary is flexible, for any changes please let me know.
