Guide #55578
Buongiorno Dear Guest, I am Emanuela; welcome to my profile. I was born in Milan, and I raised in this fantastic city. I had an education in foreign languages and in 2005, my passion for history and art led me to become a professional accredited tourist guide in Milan. After such a long experience in this field, I honestly admit that my profession is the most beautiful in the world. I strongly believe in the sage statement, "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life. " In Italy, we have a solid attitude toward perceiving beauty. For us, it's a natural talent, but it's easy to be gifted with aesthetic sense when one is born in a country with remarkable works of art in every corner. I was born near the Last supper museum and spent my childhood living in a city full of history and art; this explains my passion for working as a guide. What are the strengths of my job? First, one can meet new people from all over the world daily and get in touch with different cultures. Moreover, one of the best points is that one can arrange tours and exciting cultural itineraries to let guests discover not only the highlights of a place but also the hidden gems. What are the strengths of Milan? It's an open-minded city, a melting pot of people, and the look of Milan mirrors this attitude. The Milanese buildings reflect the Italian style and simultaneously recall the northern European cities' look. In Milan, the historical heritage harmoniously meets contemporary design. The museums are notable, the opera house and the theatres always offer the best performances, more than 5000 restaurants provide the best selection of Italian food and wines, and being the fashion capital of Italy, shopping in Milan is excellent! Milan was first settled in about 400 BC by Celtic Insubres, and then conquered by the Romans in 222 BC. Between the 5th century AC and the XIX century AC, Lombards and local families, the Spanish, the Austrian, and the French, ruled it. Thus, walking along the streets of Milan will take you back to roman times. Visiting the Sforza Castle or the Last Supper Museum will take you back to the Leonardo da Vinci and Renaissance times, or, taking a stroll in the modern districts of the city, you will be projected in the future I will be glad to let you have a fantastic experience of complete immersion through customized guided tours, where you will get to know all the different aspects of my city. I can also provide exclusive private transportation with an official registered professional driver. Get in touch with me, and I will be glad to let you discover Milan in the best way. Diploma in foreign languages (English, French, German) C1 Advanced Cambridge English CERTIFICATION CELTA (Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) I have been a licensed tourist guide for Lombardy since 2005 and a licensed tour leader since 2007 If my calendar is full, feel free to contact me, I'll be happy to help you! I can arrange luxury transportation in a Mercedes with a professional driver. For easy communication on the day of the tour, I suggest downloading WhatsApp on your smartphone.
