Hi, I’m Emanuela from Milan, Italy. Nice to meet you! I’ve been a qualified tour guide since 2006, certified to lead tours in Milan, Monza, Como, and more. My experience has allowed me to meet people from all over the world and help them discover the beauty of my city (and the one of my country, too). I love art in all its forms (painting, sculpture, architecture, and music) and I love talking about it. I believe I'm privileged to have been born in a country rich in splendid works. I'm proud to have been born in a country that gave birth to such talented artists as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, Puccini, and Verdi. What better job could there be to spread this message than that of a guide? I graduated from a high school specializing in foreign languages, art history, and tourism. I speak fluent English and French, and hold both a C1 Cambridge English and a CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). Like all Italians, I am skilled in non-verbal communication. We Italians are well known for our funny way of communicating through facial expressions and gestures, and during my tours, I love making them interactive and engaging as I teach guests to use hand “Italian” gestures. Try it and believe it! Another Italian tradition I like to introduce my guests to is the one tied to our good food. For Italians, good food, good wine, or simply a cup of espresso becomes the medium for sparking a pleasant conversation. And then Italian cuisine is now part of the world heritage. How could I avoid talking about our typical dishes during my tours? If you're looking for an effective way to admire splendid masterpieces, learn to enjoy good Italian food and wine, and even learn how to gesticulate as we do here in Italy, well, all you have to do is choose one of my tours. I look forward to seeing you here in Milan. If my calendar seems full, don’t hesitate to contact me anyway. I may still be able to accommodate you. I can organize private transportation by private car and driver. Please note that I provide pick-up and drop-off at the hotel only through the driver. I will meet you directly at the designated meeting point. For easy communication on the day of the tour, I suggest downloading WhatsApp on your smartphone.

Brera is the district of Milan where old-world charm meets a trendy, youthful vibe. On this tour, you will first visit Brera's national painting gallery, where you’ll see unique works of art by the most notable names of Italian art, such as Raffaello, Caravaggio, and Canaletto. Then, strolling through Brera's amazing narrow streets, you will discover one of Milan's most picturesque districts. Along the way, you will see street artists, fortune-tellers, lovely restaurants, and rare antique shops. The highlights include the exteriors of the medieval Saint Mark's Church, linked to Mozart's first sojourn in Milan, and the Santa Maria del Carmine Church. The tour will end with a visit to the majestic Sforza Castle, the old fortress commissioned in 1451 by the powerful Sforza Family, where you will also discover the beauty of its extensive, elegant English-style garden, the Sempione Park.
On our tour, we will see: - Brera's National Painting Gallery (inside) - Saint Mark's Church - Santa Maria del Carmine Church - Sforza Castle (outside) -Sempione Park The itinerary can be customized according to your needs and requests.
