Some 25 years ago, I choose to turn my knowledge of Sardinia into my job. Ever since, I've been working as a professional, licensed, tour guide and I wouldn't want to do any other job. To tell you the truth, to me being a tour guide isn't just a job, but a true passion! I enjoy showing my guests around this unique Island, getting them to discover its most hidden treasures. I love sharing my insider and expertise knowledge with them. I have a degree in Sardinia's culture, history, art history; I am bilingual German/Italian and I am totally fluent in English. Mein Name ist Gabriela, ich bin Reiseleiterin - mit Lizenz als Fremdenführer und Wanderführer für die Region Sardinien, deutsche Muttersprache, spezialisiert in sardischer Archäologie, Geschichte, Kunstgeschichte und Kultur und im A. R. G. T. S. - sardischer Verein für Fremdenführer und Reiseleiter - eingeschrieben. Seit 1994 führe ich hauptsächlich englisch- und deutschsprachige Gäste durch diese Abwechlungsreiche und Kontrastvolle Insel. Leichte Wanderungen in der sardischen Natur, z. B. um die scheuen Wildpferde auf dem Tafelberg "Giara" zu entdecken, oder die speziell im Frühling farbenprächtige Mittelmeerflora kennen zu lernen. This amazing cultural, archaeological and historical excursion is the most complete tour of the area, as you will visit all the must see places in Cagliari as well as the ancient roman escavations in Nora.
I'm going to meet you at the port, firstly we'll drive along via Roma and to Monte Urpino sightseeing terrace; afterwards, I'm going to guide you through the old town, the medieval neighbourhood called "Castello", which is still surrounded by the 14th century walls. You will see the medieval towers and visit the cathedral and the crypt. Exploring Castello requires an easy up hill walk but you'll be rewarded with stunning views!

After a short break we'll drive to Pula where you'll visit ancient Nora, Sardinia's little Pompeii! The town was an important punic-roman trading post and one of the earliest Phoenician settlements on the Island. In a beautiful setting on the sea, the archaeological sight has punic and roman remains such as the theatre, the temple, the forum, the patrician villa and the bath.

During this walking tour I will guide you through the old town and you will learn about everyday life in Cagliari as well as the city's old history.

From the port, after a short walk along bustling via Roma and the narrow streets of the multicultural district called Marina, I'll take you to the medieval neighbourhood called "Castello". There you'll visit the cathedral S. Maria and it's crypt. You'll enjoy walking through the narrow streets and the beautiful views from the Bastion S. Croce.
Exploring Castello requires an easy up hill walk but you'll be rewarded with astonishing views of the city.
