Guide #65608
I grew up on the Atlantic facade, close to the very last city liberated in France from the World War II German occupation, Saint Nazaire. After being certified as a National Tour Guide, I flew around the globe from my hometown to the US (Maryland), but also London and the African continent, to meet different people and their cultures. Finally, I settled in Normandy, where I became a professional Tour Guide a decade ago. Being passionate about History, I'm glad to help all visitors from around the world discover the heritage of the beautiful region of Normandy. My professional experience and personal research provide me knowledge that I love to share with you from global History to individual anecdotes. In 2022, I created « Trésors d'Histoire », a collection of books to offer readers the possibility to explore, on their own, the historical sites interactively. Come with me and discover the amazing history right under our feet, from the Middle Ages to the exceptional D-day landing operation and the battle of Normandy. He answered every one of our questions with just the right amount of detail - we were able picture the events unfolding in our minds. I have never seen my teenage son with ADHD pay such close attention for several hours! Antoine...

Thank you so much Arlyn for your sweet message. I'm glad you enjoyed your day following the stories of soldiers liberated France and Europe. We've been lucky enough to get a prefect sunny day, as always in Normandy 😜. You're welcome to come back whenever you want.
ANTOINE is a brilliant historian!! His love for history was very contagious! Our tour included two couples - one of whom was in the US Navy and visiting Normandy was on his "Bucket List". Antoine made our day so special! We learned things from US History that we did not know - his knowledge was truly remarkable!! We visited the German Cemetery, Pointe du Hoc, Omaha...

Antoine gave us a wonderful guided tour! He is very knowledgeable and was flexible, willing to change his planned itinerary to suit our "bucket list." We only speak English and he has an exceptional mastery of English making him easy to understand. We enjoyed his explanations of the D-Day landings and especially his photo album with maps and actual photos from the...

Thank you so much Kathy and Mike. That was really nice spending these 2 days with you three. I'm glad you enjoy your time me with. If you need me again, any time :-) My Best
Antoine is the expert! He impressed me not only with his in-depth knowledge of the Battle of Normandy, but also in his ability to listen and to accommodate my own personal goals for the day. Touring the beaches, memorials, and museums of the area with him was a highlight of our trip and will be a special memory for years to come. Bravo, Antoine!
