Tour Guide for now nine wonderful years, I am a very positive and ongoing person. It is really hard to get away the smile from my face ;o) When I decided to get my guiding license, more than 9 years ago now, I thought first, that it could be a summer job while on holiday from teaching, but I quickly realized what a great job guiding can be. I use to say, that now, my students are older than before, and are now really very interested in what they want me to speak about. Even better. I started doing tours for friends from California, years ago, then friends of their friends, and I now take people on my tours who become friends ;o) I live in in Normandy, where I was born, but I also lived in Paris, in the US , and in some other countries. That gives me the ability to understand other cultures and to adapt myself. Yet, Paradise is for me "here" in the green pastures of Normandy. Both my grandparents lived through the German occupation, and both were in the French Resistance. I have a very strong connection to my region. That really started my passion for digging in the past. After an education in Normandy, I went studying History and Journalism in Paris at the Sorbonne. As a real History buff, I have created some unique itineraries no one else did before me, like the real Viking tour on the footsteps of the Vikings of Normandy. I try as much as possible to do things the best I can. I am a perfectionist, and I assume. I am married and have two lovely daughters. Besides my family and my job, I love horses. Overview of your Le Havre tour
As you disembark your cruise ship, I will be there with warm croissants and coffee. Besides the obvious advantages of a Private Tour, I will share with you my passion and enthusiasm for the History of this unique site. Taking a tour with me at the Mont St Michel, not only will you see everything you should see there, but you will also enjoy a gourmet lunch with a spectacular view of the bay. The lock-down in France allowed me to stay many nights on the island, and I will share with you the unique expertise I gained in 2020. Through the "stories " and "History" I will tell you, you'll delve into more than 1000 years of French and European history. Also, if your condition and the tides allow, you'll experience a walk on the bay avoiding the quicksands and amazing quick tides. Before returning to your ship you'll discover the amazing millennial manuscripts of the Abbey of the Mont St Michel, in Avranches. This journey in Medieval History should be the start of a new passion, I hope.

Igor is a wonderful and knowledgeable man. He always responded quickly to texts. He was on time on a rainy snowy morning for drive from Rouen to Mont St Michel. Had water and snacks in his clean car. Was very personable. Very handsome. Was a very cold snowy day. Igor had extra waterproof jackets and gloves for us. He was patient. Helped one of us who has trouble walking on cobblestones. Igor was very accommodating when we exited the cruise ship late in the morning. He had coffee and cookies waiting for us, which was a nice treat. He gave us options since we had a shorter time frame. We traveled to Mont St. Michel. We chose to take the horse and buggy ride and it was an amazing way to be introduced to the Mont. We decided to enjoy a leisurely lunch while on the Mont which ran late. We ended up literally running up and down the steps of the Mont as he finished his tour explanations. Fun!
