Lena was a remarkable guide. Prompt in both communication and transportation. Incredibly knowledgeable about D-Day. She did a great job tying the history and geography together, making the invasion more real than simply reading about it. Lena is also humble and very amiable. The 8 hour tour, including the 3 necessary hours of driving, flew by. She even kept us engaged while driving! I would highly recommend Lena and this tour!
Lena put together an amazing tour for us. We had family involved in D-day and Lena helped us see all we could about our relative. She took us to the museum and even to a restaurant where my husband could leave a memorial on the wall for his uncle. She went above and beyond to make this a memorable trip. The Omaha Beach tour allows you to see so many of the areas that were part of that day. Lena is very knowledgeable about the events and is happy to share her knowledge with you. Would highly recommend this tour with Lena. You won't be disappointed.
We recently completed one of, if not the very best privately guided tour of an area that has been on our bucket list for years, the Normandy area in France. We could not have found a kinder, more informative, more knowledgeable guide for this area than Elena. She went out of her way to show us as much as possible in the limited time we had. She knew exactly what we wanted to do and see and she was totally accomodating to give us that. We want to return to the area and when we do, we will contact her.
A very memorable day and private tour by Elena! Her compassion about making sure we knew all the history of the land and people as well as the D-Day sacrifices made our experience incredible. Elena was on time, professional and delivered all and more of what the tour committed to. She made our group of 6 feel like family from beginning to end. And because one of our group members father landed on a different beach during WW2 than was on our tour she took us there as well. That's class! 5 stars for Elana!

Le Havre - La Pointe du Hoc - Omaha Beach - Lunch - American Cemetery - Overlord Museum - Le Havre Please note, we need about 1h45 drive from Le Havre to reach Omaha Beach. First at all, we will see La Pointe du Hoc. Preserved as it was at the end of fighting, this place was taken by US Rangers using grappling hooks. Next, we will see "Bloody Omaha". The 1st and 29th US Divisions had terrible losses on D-day. I'll show exact location of famous "Norman Cota's draw". Also, you will have time to pay your respects at the American Cemetery. Finally, we will make a stop at Overlord Museum to see the exceptional WW2 vehicles collection.
