•We'll begin with a morning pickup from either Bayeux or Caen and depart to Utah Beach. •On our way there, I'll provide you all the context you need into World War 2 and the Overlord operation. •On arrival to Utah Beach, I'll indicate the site of the landing of the famous 4th Infantry Division. •Next, we'll focus on the airborne sector (airdrop of the paratroopers' divisions in the Normandy countryside) with a stop in Sainte Mère Eglise and La Fière. •Afterwards, we'll reach the Battery of «Pointe du Hoc, site of the Rangers' attack on the cliffs. •Later, we'll visit Omaha Beach, site of the bloodiest battle on D-day. •We'll then visit the largest military cemetery in Normandy, the US cemetery of Colleville-sur-Mer, a magnificent site of remembrance and meditation overlooking Omaha Beach. •At last, I'll drop you off back in Bayeux or Caen.
