After having studied languages, I immediately embraced tourism. I have guided for several Belgium tour operators for years. That way I gained a lot of experience and still do! It is my passion to help people understand, discover Belgium and love its great cities: their architecture, history and way of living over the centuries and especially Brussels, since 1997 the capital of Europe! I hope to help you discover the city/ies, to take part in the pace of life! I have lived in the center of Brussels until recently, when I moved to a suburban area (in need of a garden!) We'll admire the historical and architectural highlights, be moved by the creations of the famous art masters and join the people in their quest for gourmet specialties, typical pastimes and fun! All historival cities now have multicultural aspects that will surprise you too! Your suggestions and special demands are welcome. We were a party of four mature travelers. We booked a three hour walking tour with Eric to see Brussels. He was knowlegable and was able to answer all of our questions and spoke clearly and we communicated well We told him we wanted to understand the culture, history and people of Brussels. This was day 2 (2 different tours) of our time with Erik. this was an all day tour. We took the train from Brussels to Bruges which was easy. And a good way to experience the country. Very knowledgeable about Bruges and let us decide what paid admissions we wanted to do. Also knew some great photo spots. Great city to visit and even better when you have a guide...

We had Erik as our guide for 2 days (2 separate tours). This particular tour was a great way for us to explore the historical part of the Brussels in 1/2 day. Erik was very knowledgeable and it worked out very well for my wife and myself.

Erik H did a wonderful job on our full day trip to Bruges. He let us set the pace and accommodated our desires to see specific sites. We were particularly interested in history and he was very knowledgeable and was able to share his knowledge clearly.
