Walking tour in Vilnius old town (which is protected by the UNESCO) visiting all the most important sights. I will tell you about the history of Vilnius and of Lithuania and show you the most beautiful and outstanding buildings of different architectural styles from Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque to Modernism and modern architecture. You will have a possibility to enjoy nice city panorama and hear some legends about the city. You will also learn about the today's life of Vilnius citizens and visit places (pubs, restaurants, squares) where the locals like to spend their time. During the tour you will have a possibility to buy some local souvenirs if interested.

Marius gave our group of three a tour of Vilnius Old Town. The tour was terrific. It was well paced and always interesting. His knowledge is vast and his command of English is excellent. We asked him all sorts of questions ranging from why a poet was so beloved to what supports the Lithuanian economy to what was that strange building we could see in the distance. He always had an answer and a story. We highly recommend Marius for any tours of Vilnius.
I will meet you at your hotel. During the walking tour in Vilnius old town I will show you the Cathedral square, Gediminas tower with a beautiful city panorama, upper castle, lower castle, the Pilies street with residential houses of different architectural styles, the Gothic triangle of Vilnius (St. Ana's, Bernardine's, St. Michael's churches), small Amber museum, Vilnius University complex, Presidential palace. Lunch or coffee break (optional). Then we continue to the City hall square, Didzioji street, guild houses, former Jewish Ghetto, St. Casimir's, St. Theresa's and other Baroque churches, orthodox churches, the Gate of the Dawn and the famous painting of the Holy Virgin Mary, other most important sights. At the end I will bring you back to your hotel or another demanded place within the city limits.
