My name is Lukas. I'll be happy to walk around with you and show you the places and tell the stories about my town. I've been living here my whole life and I know every single street and courtyard of this city. I work as a guide in English and Norwegian languages since 2012. I know good local restaurants, SPA centers, hotels and I can't recommend them for you. It is interesting to stop for traditional food tasting during the excursion. We can also do one or two days tour with bikes in the beautiful Lithuanian nature or to visit the Hill Of Crosses with more than 100 000 crosses on the hill. The museum is situated in the former KGB building, where the crimes of the Soviet regime were planned and executed for fifty years. Take this interesting tour in the former KGB prison with professional English and Norwegian speaking guide. During the tour you will be able to visit: the former KGB prison, executions chamber, modern exhibitions about resistance movement and deportations and more. Guided tour lasts approximately 1 hour, but you can stay after the tour in the museum to take a look at the pictures and exhibition about deportations, KGB, resistance movement in Lithuania. One chamber of 19 is dedicated to Jewish Holocaust, because 1941-1944 the building was used as the German Gestapo. Ticket price 6EUR per person is not included in tours price.
