I'm a University Gruaduate Tour Guide as well as National & Regional Tourism Technician fully Pfizer vaccinated against Covid-19. Ever since I was a child I always found myself continuously captivated by foreigners, be it by their languages or their cultures. Being part of a family of European immigrants and periodically exposed to different languages my entire life, this always proved to be second nature to me. In addition, I studied English for over a decade in one of the top schools in the country and to this day continue to use it on a daily basis. Thanks to this, I was able to obtain The University of Michigan's Certificate of Proficiency in English. As part of my Tourism education, I attended the United Nation's World Tourism Organization's First Seminar on the International Code for the Protection of Tourists and hold a Touristic Management certificate emitted by the Ministry of Commerce of China. I am proud to say I now have a decade of experience working in Tourism, during which I've had the privilege to provide services for worldwide organizations such as UNESCO, the UN Environment Programme, the Organization of American States & the Inter-Parliamentary Union. I've also provided tours to politicians such as South Carolina's Senate Minority Lead Brad Hutto and the Minister of Natural Resources of Guyana Vickram Bharrat. On a more personal note, being born and raised in Uruguay (the only place I ever lived in) I am wholeheartedly acquainted with its ins & outs, and feel genuine enthusiasm every time I get the opportunity to share these gems hiding in plain sight with others. I fully believe every person is unique and experiences this country in a different way, but my job is to guarantee this experience is remarkable for everyone. Even though there is a certain structure in the private tours I offer, these are always flexible to a degree, and able to be customized as to fulfill your unique expectations. I sincerely hope we can get to know each other and go around my beautiful country together!

Albert Einstein, Amerigo Vespucci, Pope John Paul II, Paul McCartney. . . what do all of these people have in common? They've all stayed over in Montevideo! Give me the opportunity to share global scale stories you've never heard before that'll make you wonder how we managed to keep such amazing secrets under the radar. From its natural biodiversity to its architectural variety, Montevideo is nothing if not memorable. This 6 hour excursion will take you from start to finish, to the literal starting and finishing points of our development, from the colonial era's old city neighbourhood, to the high end residential neighbourhoods, all through our legendary bay where a World War II ship is currently sank in. Across this tour, you'll get to walk along 18th century pedestrian areas, go across the modern city centre's bustling streets and escape into hidden natural oasis and green spots where we'll come across a variety of birds! You'll finish the day feeling like a honorary resident of this astonishing city!
Were we to start at the Port, this would be in accurate order: ·First, we'll visit the Port Market, an architectural pioneer of British influence. ·Next, we'll reach the Zabala Square, where you'll see the sea from 3 cardinal points. ·We'll then pass by the National Post Office Tower, a National Historical Monument. ·Next, we'll visit a 300 year old square and our main catholic temple. ·Later, we'll reach Independence Square, in front of the Presidential tower. ·We'll then drive past our Congress and visit our Agricultural Market. ·Then it's on to Prado Neighbourhood with its stunning 19th century architecture and rose garden. ·Next, Batlle Park with the Obelisk to our Constitution, the Carriage Monument 1st FIFA World Cup stadium. ·We can't avoid stopping by the Montevideo Shore for a photo op! ·Heading back, we'll pass by the lake of Rodo Park in front of our Holocaust Memorial. If this itinerary does not suit your interests, I'm always able to provide you with a customized tour that better does.

I could pick you up from your hotel, from the airport, the Cruise Ship Port, etc. For the purpose of the chronogical narrative of the tour, I would recommend to start in the Port, although we can of course adapt to other points.
