The history and mythology of the Hawaiian people captivate locals and visitors alike. I enjoy learning about them and sharing my knowledge. When family or friends visit, I take them around to the places I enjoy (sightseeing, restaurants, activities) or, if time does not permit, I draw up itineraries for them to explore on their own. From President Obama's favorite shave ice stand to hidden waterfalls and spectacular vistas, I will help you discover way more of the island than you could driving a rental car. Learn about the attack on December 7, 1941, which President Franklin Roosevelt described as "a date which will live in infamy" and see his hand-edited speech. A variety of films and outdoor exhibits provide a glimpse of pre-war Honolulu and a moving testimonial to the ingenuity and bravery of our armed forces. In addition to the USS Arizona Memorial, you'll visit the USS Missouri, site of Japan's surrender, and your choice of USS Bowfin Submarine and Submarine Museum OR Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum. I will give you tips on how best to experience the USS Arizona Memorial. You will also visit Punchbowl National Cemetery, Iolani Palace, King Kamehameha Statue and Mission Houses.

We are a family of 5 people (3 adults and 2 teenagers) Donna is very kind and accommodating and try her very best to answer all the questions from a young curious teenager. We hired Donna for 2 full days Pearl Harbor tours that include the Visitor Center , Museums, USS Arizona Memorial, USS Missouri, USS Bowfin and the museum of submarine. She also helped to make lunch reservations at 604 restaurant. Overall we are happy with Donna

Depending on availability of USS Arizona Memorial tickets, the order of the following locations may change: - Honolulu historic sites: Iolani Palace, King Kamehameha Statue, Supreme Court, Old Kawaiaha'o Church, Mission Houses. Drive by or get out and walk around exteriors only, as you prefer and as time permits. - Punchbowl Memorial Cemetery - drive through. Get out and see mosaics of Pacific War battles if time permits. - Pearl Harbor sites: Visitors Center exhibits, documentary film, USS Arizona Memorial, Battleship Missouri, EITHER USS Bowfin Submarine & Submarine Museum OR Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum.
