ALOHA! With me, you will find an enthusiastic guide that loves showing you the amazing beauty of Hawaii. I am happily married with 2 kids, I love to surf, hike, read and honestly enjoy time with clients visiting Oahu and getting to re-experience the island with you. Before making the move to Oahu with my family in 2014, I lived in Japan for 35+ years and worked on the US military installations as a fireman for 16yrs. I hope you will come to rely on me as a cousin here in Hawaii that wants you to experience the awesome environment and food that Oahu has to offer. After moving to Oahu, I have had the opportunity to provide guided tours to thousands of clients as a Segway Instructor, Hiking Tour Guide, and lately a Private and Group Tour Guide. This tour is to give you smooth pickup at the pier or airport and make the most out of your time before you go to check-in to your hotel or depart at the airport from Honolulu. You will have up to 4 hours after pickup to spend as you would like. Book me for Airport Pickup at Honolulu International Airport and let me help you get grounded. Depending on the time of your flight we can arrange what you can do! Getting here in the Morning Time? Afternoon? Even Nighttime too! Of course this can be arranged for drop off when you depart too!
Jody was extremely knowledgeable about Oahu and led me to some very interesting spots. He was able to adapt the tour as we went along to hit areas that were interesting and important to me. As a native Japanese and English speaker, it was interesting to get his perspectives on life and living in Oahu.
Jody was a great tour guide. We had some time before we had to be at the airport coming off the cruise ship. We had asked him to show us places that are not on a bus shore excursion and he took us to some wonderful site seeing places, just what we where looking for. Very knowledgeable about the island. We would definitely recommend Jody to anyone who is looking for a great time.

Jody was the perfect guide for our group of 5 siblings. We had several hours between interisland & overnight flights. Because of check-in issues, we were already exhausted! We planned to spend several hours at Pearl Harbor but Jody adjusted the tour perfectly. He took us to a few historical sites & we learned just enough to want to come back for more. He took us to a great coffee shop & picked up pastries at a renowned bakery. And we had a quick tour of Waikiki Bach & Pearl Harbor. We'll hire Jody again!
I will advise you on where to meet me for pre-arranged pickup at the airport and or pier After we meet I will take you to a store of your choice to pickup the essentials you need during your stay. Water, Sunscreen, Bug spray, Alcohol, Food, Snack etc. . We can go to Costco, Sams Club, Wholefoods, Local Supermarkets, Target, Walmart. . . . . . If you do not need to shop, make quick trips to: Bishop Museum and Honolulu Museum of Art (fee separate) or Use the limited time for Pearl Harbor (fee separate) or Shop in Kailua Town or Dole Plantation and Haleiwa Town Before I drop you off we will tour the surroundings of your hotel so you can get a lay of the land and feel comfortable to explore the area during the rest of your stay. If you need more time this tour can be customized.
