Pearl Harbor & Scenic Island Tour - Hawaii's North Shore Excursion

Start the day with a visit to Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial- one of the most historic and popular places to visit, which you can only reach by the water. By looking at its architectural structure, you can interpret how its shape expresses initial defeat and ultimate victory, which reflects the events of the war. Following Pearl Harbor, we begin our scenic drive to the the North Shore of Hawaii! On this part of the tour we will see the iconic surf beaches of this area, plus beautiful scenery while we learn the history of the island driving along the coastline and Waimea Bay. We'll also pass by a cattle ranch and nature reserve where some of the world's most famous movies were filmed, such as Jurassic Park & Godzilla. Get your tastebuds ready because the North Shore is also considered one of the island's main cultural spots, in part due to their culinary options! You'll be able to taste great variety on local food tracks along the tour. The following itinerary can be customized:

-You'll be picked up at your hotel, cruise ship or at the airport -What follows will be a drive straight to Pearl Harbor, where we'll listen to a pre-recorded lecture of a historian going into depth about the attack of 1941. -Having reached our destination, we'll proceed to explore the Visitor's Center where you will visit 2 main exhibits, including a 23-minute documentary with live archive footage. -After this, you'll take the Navy shuttle to the USS Arizona Memorial. -Next, we'll begin covering the Hawaiian North Shore, driving by Waimea Bay and the iconic North Shore Beaches. -We'll make a stop at an iconic Dole Plantation that has been functioning since last century. -We'll also reach a Macadamia Nut Farm along the way! -We'll arrive at Haleiwa Town, a 1900s community that started out as a sugar plantation. -You'll have the opportunity to try some food from the Food trucks and eateries in Haleiwa. -At last we'll return to your lodging.
