Welina mai (Welcome) to the Mokupuni (Island) of Oahu! My name is Leina. Born on the west side of the island and raised by my grandparents, I was blessed to be immersed in my Hawaiian culture thru Hula as well as 'Olelo (Hawaiian Language). Today, I enjoy sharing this knowledge taught to me by my Kupuna's (elders) as well as Kumu's (Teachers) in order to perpetuate and educate our culture, the Kanaka Oiwi (Indigenous People of Hawaii) to all Malihini (Visitors) and Returning Kamaaina who are willing to accept this gift of Knowledge. I am a fountain of Information when it comes to the Island of Oahu. From a very young age, my family has hosted visitors from all over the world for the purpose of this special cultural exchange. Growing up and into my adult life, I recall connecting and learning from all those hosted, and taking our guests to discover our Islands Sacred Places and Beautiful Landscape. Many of these relationships have turned into life long friendships and Ohana (Family). I am hoping by Joining this incredible platform "Tours By Locals", I can continue to give that same Private and Unforgettable experiences to those looking for a one of a kind Guide that is a True Kanaka (Hawaiian). Come with me on one of my many offered tours such as Puuloa (Pearl Harbor) and The USS Arizona Memorial, and other Pearl Harbor Sites and Attractions. Go on a Half or Full day Tour around Oahu, to some of the most sought after places on the Island. Which ever tour you choose, weather it is here on my Guide page or a customized to your needs and wants, you will be riding in style and comfort in your own private VIP Chauffeured Limousine hosted by yours truly. "Ua Lehulehu a manomano ka 'ikena a no kanaka Hawaii" (Great and Numerous is The Knowledge of The Hawaiian People). Mahalo (Thank You) for the opportunity to share a bit of myself and the Island of Oahu with you, hoping to be able to share a lot more Aloha (Love). Me ka ha 'aha 'a (Humbly and Sincerely) Leina F. As we journey along Oʻahu’s legendary North Shore toward beautiful Waimea Valley, you’ll enjoy views of some of Hawaiʻi’s most famous beaches known for their breathtaking beauty and legendary winter waves. As we pass Laniakea Beach, also known as “Turtle Beach,” keep an eye out for Hawaiian green sea turtles that are often seen basking along the shoreline. At Waimea Valley, one of Oʻahu’s most treasured cultural and botanical sites, you will explore lush botanical gardens, ancient Hawaiian archaeological sites, and one of Oʻahu’s most sought after Waterfalls. If conditions permit, you’ll even have the opportunity to take a refreshing swim beneath the picturesque Waimea Falls while learning about the valley’s rich history and cultural significance. On our return, we’ll stop in Historic Haleiwa Town, where you will have time to enjoy lunch and browse the local shops. As a Native Hawaiian born and raised on Oʻahu, I will share my experiences, knowledge, and answer any questions you may have about Hawaii.
