Overview of your Honolulu tour
Kirk's Day Trip to O'ahu's Southeast Coast & Windward Side is an adventure that brings up to 4 travelers on an eclectic tour of the spectacular Ka Iwi State Scenic Shoreline, the Windward Side of O'ahu and the State Capitol Historic District, with a local guide well versed in the history, architecture, and culture of Hawai'i. The tour's first stop is the Diamond Head Lookout which offers a stunning view of the island's South Shore. From Diamond Head, the tour takes you on a scenic drive along Oahu's spectacular Southeast coastline, home to Hanauma Bay, Halona Blowhole, Sandy Beach, and more. There will be brief stops at certain locations to take photos and enjoy the island's natural wonders. The tour will also include highlights of the Windward Side of the island, including Kailua Beach Park, the Byodo-In Temple in the Valley of the Temples, Pali Lookout, and one or two of Kirk's favorite "Secret Spots. " The itinerary is flexible and can be tailored to suit the travelers' interests at any point and time.

April 13 2025 my husband and I, in our 70's and 80's , spent a great day touring O'ahu. We were picked up by Kirk with his Audi Crossover vehicle at the cruise ship terminal. We were able to accommodate my husbands collapsible walker. Kirk's historical knowledge and interesting facts about Honolulu area made for an wonderful day. Although we have visited this area years ago spending the day with a personal guide was the highlight of our 17 day cruise. We were able to experience areas we had never seen before. We highly recommend this tour and Kirk as your guide. You will not be disappointed

Guide picks up travelers at the Meeting Location. *Stop at Diamond Head Lookout ("Talk Story") *Drive-by Hanauma Bay (State Nature Preserve) along the Ka Iwi State Scenic Shoreline. * Stop at Halona Blowhole: Short hike down to "From Hear to Eternity Beach" (Optional). * Stop at Makapu'u Lookout (to take photos). *Drive slowly by Sandy Beach to view the body surfers. *Drive by Kailua Beach Park on way to a Secret Spot. *Nu'uanu Pali Lookout: Beautiful view of the Windward Side.
