This 90 minute tour will cover the Kennedys in Boston in the context of the experience of Irish immigrants. The grandfather's role in the family we be explained as well as the Joseph Kennedy's wealth and the essential way that Rose Kennedy assisted in political campaigns. We will be stopping outside the residence of JFK's beloved grandfather and Boston Mayor, John F. Fitzgerald. The wonderful 19th century hotel where JFK proposed to Jackie will be featured as we see the table where he proposed marriage. We will stop at Faneuil Hall where Ted Kennedy and John F. Kennedy gave key speeches. We will see the Rose Kennedy greenway and hear of how Senator Edward Kennedy secured the funding for Boston's Bid Dig project. The tour ends in Boston's Quincy market.
