Hi! My name is Christian and I have been a tour guide here in Boston for more then 20 years. I first came to Boston as a college student where I studied History and Secondary Education at Boston College, one of the dozens of great universities in the Boston area. The first time I led tours was shortly after I graduated college and the job has become a passion of mine ever since. Showing visitors this amazing city is a true honor. Boston has so much to offer, from arts, to culture to architecture. And then of course there is the history! It would be difficult to find a city in America as rich in history as Boston. The true charm of Boston is the fact every where you turn history is staring you in the face. I love the words of William Faulkner, "The past is never dead. It's not even past. " That couldn't be more true than here in Boston. If you were to join me on one of my tours, you could expect to learn stories and see things that even the most experienced visitors to Boston would find new and amazing. I relish the opportunity to add fresh perspective and new insight to all those who take my tour. Attention to detail and client satisfaction are truly what make tours successful and memorable. I have an easy going personality and really enjoy making each tour unique and suited to the particular interests of the client. Whether it be history, shopping, pub crawling, pop culture, food or sports, you just let me know and I will use my vast tour guide experience to show you something new. Giving tours is like traveling the world without ever leaving home, and as much as I love my city and showing people it's amazing sights, the real joy of my job is making new friends. The personal interactions that develop during a private tour are really the reason I love this job. I am always open to make new friends and learn a thing or two myself. I hope you'll take one of my tours and we will have a chance to connect. Overview of your Boston tour

This tour is for the early bird athlete. We will run the Freedom Trail early in the morning before the rest of the city wakes up. We'll cover about 3miles (5kilometers) and more than 400 years of history. The tour will take short breaks to explain the sights we are seeing, but the goal is to break a sweat and get the heart rate up while learning the incredible story of Boston. It is the best way to start the day off on the right foot! I have been giving tours of Boston for more than 20 years and this tour is my favorite way to see the city. You will carry a sense of accomplishment throughout the day knowing you have covered the Freedom Trail and burned enough calories to offset a bowl of New England Clam Chowder. The best part about this tour though is having the busy sights all to ourselves before the large crowds arrive. Like all good things though, this tour has to be earned through sweat and effort. Come prepared to run and learn.

What a way to start the day! Christian was great, very knowledgable, and slowed down the pace when needed. Was really nice to get out on the Freedom Trail in the morning when it’s quiet, and learn about Boston’s rich history, while burning off some of the previous nights chowder. Would 100% recommend!

Christian is awesome. Super nice and very knowledgeable about everything Boston. The running tour was the perfect way to explore the city and get a little exercise as well. Christian was able to point out different landmarks that we never would have realized without doing this. Very glad we did this! Would highly recommend!!
