Hi everybody! This Adem from Cappadocia. I have been working as a tour guide (which is my childhood dream profession) since 2008. Even though I am a national tour guide , I am very experienced at organizing and doing tours in Cappadocia. I fluently speak English, beside my Portuguese level is advanced. Cappadocia is one of the must places in Turkey with unique rock formations, very rich culture and history. It would be pleasure to share all my experience with you. All my tours can be customized, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions I got my professional tour guide licence from Turkish Culture and Tourism Ministry after studying for four years at Erciyes University, department of Tour guiding. As a tour guide, I am not permitted to arrange the tours on my own, so the tours and and the official papers will be arranged through a travel agency. *I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a seperate car and driver.

This tour can be thought as the first day option that includes the highlights of Cappadocia. We can talk about Cappadocia history and all the civilizations starting from stone age. Visiting the most popular spots and museums (UNESCO sites), we will have an unforgettable day together. In this tour beside visiting the must places in he region I will let you be closer to the local people. I try to take my groups far from the crowd especially with a good timing it is better to feel the Cappadocia spirit and peace surrounding with volcanic rocks. It is good to find beautiful photo stops also to take pictures of the memorable moments in your mind. Beside sharing my 13 year years experience , I will lead you see all those amazing places and interpret them from a different angle.
• We start the tour by seeing the Devrent Valley. It is a good point to give general information about the Cappadocia area with its' different volcanic formations. • Then we visit Zelve Open Air Museum - this was one of the villages with the oldest cave houses. • After visiting the ruins of Zelve, we drive to Pasabag where we have the chance to walk around the big fairy chimneys. • The next place is Avanos, where we can see the Red River. • After lunch in Avanos (optional) we may visit the pottery demonstration which is a famous handcraft since 2000 BC. • In the afternoon we will visit the Goreme Open Air Museum (which is a UNESCO site) where is possible to see the best examples of the cave churches from the Byzantine period. • We end the day having our coffee with a splendid view of the panorama. •Having an enjoyable and informative day we drop you at your hotel. Depending on your interest the time we spend on the sites may change or extend or skip some points as you wish. Contact me for a customized tour!

A/C minivan with the driver and also includes some walking. It is good to have a driver in Cappadocia who is going to take us to the sites so we do not care about parking.
