Ready to dive into history and nature! Lets explore mysterious over 4000 years old underground city of Cappadocia . This region has been like a bridge for thousands years . For this reason we can see a combination of history and nature . There is more than 50 underground city in Cappadocia . We are going to visit one of the biggest and deepest one ! Its a UNESCO world heritage site !
We had a great visit to the underground city with Emrullah! He provided us with lots of information both on our drive and at the underground city. We would definitely go on another tour with Emrullah if we visit Cappadocia again!
Emrullah was absolutely amazing. Loved every minute of the tour. We did the underground city. He was in time picking us up. Great with information and such a nice guy. We decided to expand our tour and went hiking with him. He took us to the best views in Cappadocia.
Thousands years of history ! Many civilization used and expanded this underground cities over years . This underground city were excavated in 800 years! This caves used by Christians to defend themselves from religious persecution. It is a Unesco site and opened for visitors in 1964! Inside the city we see where they were eating, sleeping , storing , living and all other details . We will meet at the meeting point in goreme (or let me know if you are staying in different nearby village for pick up and drop off) It takes total 2 hours and if you want we can visit winery on the way and try cappadocia wine. I am a licensed professional tour guide and I tell all stories of the underground city and the region .
