Private Cappadocia Full-day Tour

Excellent tour with Eda! We had a full day tour while we were in Urgup Capadoccia. I had contacted her a few months before our visit and asked her to customize the tour for my wife and I. My wife has some mobility issues and Eda was able to make sure nothing was too difficult, while at the same time seeing what makes the area so special. We were picked up at our hotel in a very comfortable and clean vehicle. The driver that Eda works with was very kind, and kept us hydrated, it was hot even for mid September. The sites we saw were really spectacular. Better than in the pictures. But it really is the information that Eda provided that made it so memorable. Having the history explained puts what you are seeing in the proper context so you can really appreciate it. Without it you are just looking at stone and rock structures without knowing why they were built, by whom and what purpose they served. Really great to have that. We had a little side trip to a pottery making shop where I made a bowl, not a pretty one but it was my first bowl. We were offered a rug making tour also but did not do that. Overall just a great tour that made the day very full and fun but not too tiring. If you have the chance to see this part of Cappadocia, you should reach out to Eda and have her guide you through the sites.

Eda was a wonderful guide from start to finish. Full of interesting information and history and very personable. Great communication even before we began the tour with valuable advice and recommendations. She covered everything we wanted to see with a happy pleasant demeanor. We had a wonderful time visiting many of the fascinating sites of Cappadocia with Eda. She was very knowledgeable and related the history of the region and the various sites in a friendly and energetic fashion. She was flexible and allowed us to substitute sites and linger at places according to our desires. Her English was excellent and even this hearing impaired old guy was able to easily understand the information she provided. Eda was an excellent guide giving us lots of informative history of the Cappadoccia sites. The highlights were the open air museum & the underground city. We also visited a Turkish rug & gem shop which & had a delicious traditional Turkish lunch which added to the experience. Thankyou Eda.

Eda is a fantastic guide. She makes this tour awesome. She is knowledgeable - it shows, having gone to university here and been a local guide for over 15 years. She is friendly and connected with everybody in the group. She prioritized the sights we wanted to see in the itinerary so that we wouldn't miss the ones we wanted to see the most if we ran out of time at the end of the day. The transportation she arranged for our for our group of 8 was great. I would highly recommend Eda as a guide and this tour.
