Private Cappadocia Full-day Tour

As a guide with more than 18 years of experience, I prepared this itinerary especially for the visitors with limited time (at least one full day) that want to see and feel the best of Cappadocia. . . We can visit some of the main highlights, such us Pigeon Valley, Kaymaklı Underground City, Goreme Open Air Museum, Avanos- Red River and Pasabag Fairy Chimneys (Monks' Valley). I want to tell you about history of Cappadocia while exploring the Underground tunnels and cave churches. I am going to take you for the most popular sites and museums and as a person like taking pictures, I can arrange the time and location during the tour to offer us opportunities to take beautiful photos of the volcanic formations. We can have fun trying to make Pottery- the famous handcraft for 4000years!

-Meeting at your hotel we start the tour with the Pigeon Valley, a famous and a good spot to give the general information about the Cappadocia area. -Then we drive to Kaymakli Underground City through villages and potato fields. Kaymakli Underground City is one of the highlights of Cappadocia as being carved out first by the Hittites. -Driving back to Goreme, we will visit the Goreme Open Air Museum (a UNESCO site), where it's possible to see the best examples of the cave churches from the Byzantine period. -We have lunch in Goreme or Avanos. -After lunch (optional), we may visit the pottery demonstration which is a famous handcraft since 2000 BC. -Then we head to Pasabag, also known as being the home for the Christian monks. -We finish the tour stopping at a panoramic point that gives us a spectecular view. -We drop you at your hotel.
