Hi there! I am Eda. I would like to guide you here in this unique place to make your vacation u forgetable. Let me introduce myself; I came to Cappadocia to study for becoming a tour guide in 2003. Studying for 4 years, I have graduated from Erciyes University in 2007 and since then I have been guiding here in Cappadocia. So I am a professional Tour Guide licenced by Ministry of Turkish Culture and Tourism. Besides this, after graduation I worked as a tour operator in an incoming agency; for all these times preparing tailor-made itineraries. Cappadocia is in the middle of Anatolia. It is a magical place formed by volcanoes and full of history of different civilizations. I like to take people who are interested in culture for the tours in this fairyland. If you are interested in culture, history and looking for a chance to get closer with nature and escaping from the big city life, I will be happy to help you! Love my Job; guiding for couples, group of friends and families also as a mom of three kids (i know how is it traveling with kids so ;) I can be flexible during the tour for the families with kids. *As a tour guide, I am not permitted to arrange the tours on my own, so the tours and and the official papers will be arranged through a travel agency. *I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange a seperate car and driver.

This tour can be thought as the first day option that includes the highlights of Cappadocia. We can talk about Cappadocia history and all the civilizations starting from stone age. We will visit the most popular spots and museums such as, Devrent Valley (Imagination Valley), Zelve Open Air Museum, Pasabag Fairy Chimneys (Monks' Valley), Avanos- Red River, Goreme Open Air Museum (UNESCO site) and more! We will have an unforgettable day together! As connected with the area somehow throughout the history! it is common to see the horses both in the ranches or sometimes somewhere on the fields. I try to take my groups far from the crowds. You will feel the Cappadocia spirit and peace surrounding with volcanic rocks. We will find beautiful photo stops also to take pictures of the memorable moments in your mind.

Eda was a fantastic guide. We liked how well she spoke English, how professional she was about communication and scheduling, and how knowledgeable she was about her country. This is a great trip. What an amazing place. I would not have enjoyed it half as much with Eda taking me and my wife around. Transportation was fantastic. Water, AC, snacks. Information was incredible. Overall a wonderful guide. Very professional.
We had the most amazing days and the best time with our guide Eda . She’s very thorough and knowledgeable about all the areas we visited giving us lots of interesting facts and details. Her knowledge and love of Cappadocia with its incredible history is abundant. Spending a day discovering Cappadocia with Eda is comparable to reading a novel that you do not want to put down. Thank you for the best two days of adventures. We will miss you !

Our experience with Eda from Tours by Local was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we met Eda, we felt warmly welcomed and at ease. Her engaging personality and deep knowledge of the area truly brought our tour to life. What impressed us the most was her ability to listen to our needs and tailor the experience to fit our requests perfectly. Whether it was discussing the history of the area (not in a boring way but engaging way) or taking an interest in who we were as people . It made the experience memorable and fun ! We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Eda has a passion for her work and her dedication to ensuring we had a memorable experience shone through . If you’re looking for a tour that feels personal and is led by someone who genuinely cares, look no further than Eda . Thank you Eda!
-We start the tour by seeing the Devrent Valley. It is a good point to give general information about the Cappadocia area with its' different volcanic formations. -Then we visit Zelve Open Air Museum - this was one of the villages with the oldest cave houses. -After visiting the ruins of Zelve, we drive to Pasabag where we have the chance to walk around the big fairy chimneys. -The next place is Avanos, where we can see the Red River. -After lunch in Avanos (optional) we may visit the pottery demonstration which is a famous handcraft since 2000 BC. -In the afternoon we will visit the Goreme Open Air Museum (which is a UNESCO site) where is possible to see the best examples of the cave churches from the Byzantine period. We end the day having our coffee with a splendid view of the panorama. -Having an enjoyable and informative day we drop you at your hotel. -Depending on your interest the time we spend on the sites may change or extend or skip some points as you wish.

A/C minivan with the driver and also includes some walking. It is good to have a driver in Cappadocia who is going to take us to the sites so we do not care about parking.
