Full Day Private Guided Hiking Tour in Cappadocia Canyon

I am so enthusiastic to climb up to Selime monastery which is one best spots in Cappadocia for takin pictures with a splendid view. There is an urban legend about the monastery that they say Star Wars was filmed there. . . even though it is not true, the atmosphere will indeed make you feel as if you were in another planet. Driving on the countryside we will see potato fields and the second biggest volcano Mount Hasan closer. In the end of the day, you would be back in the hotel with the joy of discovering south of Cappadocia.

• We meet you at your hotel reception and start the tour with Derinkuyu Underground City (which is a UNESCO site and also the deepest underground city of the area) getting down deep through the narrow tunnels we discover the rooms first carved by Hittites. • We drive further and on the way to Ihlara Valley, we stop to take the picture of Nar Lake which seems beautiful at any time of the year. • We arrive at Ihlara Valley which is more like a gorge formed by the eruption of the volcano (Mt. Hasan) just beside it. • We start the hiking as we get to the bottom of the valley seeing the Agacalti church on our path. It is a nice walk just by the river for around 4 km. • Then we arrive at our restaurant in Belisirma village. • After lunch, we drive back and the final stop will be the Pigeon Valley (+ an optional visit to the Onyx workshop). • Dropping you to your hotel.
