Hej! Hi! Most welcome to Stockholm and Sweden! My name is Anette and I would love to show you the beautiful city of Stockholm and the interesting surroundings. I was born in the city and I lived here all my life. I would like to share my city with you, and tell you all the great stories and the history of Stockholm. Take a look at my tours to get an idea of what you want to see and do. We can easily change according to your wishes. There are so many things to experience in Stockholm. We can do city walks, go to museums, or visit palaces in and around Stockholm. The archipelago with all islands is very special, or maybe a walk in the smallest national park just 40 min drive from Stockholm? It will all be unforgettable in different ways. During the tour I will have the opportunity to tell you about daily life in Stockholm and about Swedish traditions. You can pick one of my published tours, or tell me what you want to experience and I will arrange for it. I always start my tours with a short introduction to the Swedish history. Some more about me, history and travelling has always been my interests and passions. My career started within international telecoms, I traveled in my job but also for vacation. With two grown up sons, I went back to university and studied to become a teacher in history and business economics. I have been a teacher at a high-school for many years. Now I spend more of my time guiding and I do love it! Overview of your Stockholm tour
Let us spend the day to drive through beautiful Stockholm. I will bring a driver to make it possible to stop and get out wherever we want. We will see all the 14 islands that together make the city and we will drive over some of the 57 bridges connecting the 14 islands. It is a mix of culture, nature and water. We can make a small walk at different places. We will lookat all the buildings from different historical periods of the city. Because we have the car we will also have the time to visit and see some of the areas around Stockholm if you prefer that. We can also do something else like, -Travel to see Sigtuna and Uppsala. Sigtuna the oldest town in Sweden. or -Mariefred, Gripsholm and the cake palace Taxinge. or -Take a short or longer walk in the smallest national park of Sweden (old forest), Tyresta by. View all the island from the small archipelago town of Dalarö

A beautiful small town with buildings mainly from the 18th and 19th century, Uppsala - The old university buildings, the library with the silver bibel, the cathedral, the heart of the Swedish church. Take a walk along the channel in the downtown of Uppsala. 3. Mariefred, Gripsholm and the Taxinge Visit the cake palace for a fika at Taxinge, see the castle Gripsholm, and walk the streets of Mariefred. See the old railway, and train 4.
